With deep ranching roots in both Montana and Wyoming, Taite was raised on his family’s sixth-generation ranch near Gillette, Wyoming, where he developed a lifelong respect for land, legacy, and hard work. Today, he and his wife are raising their son on the family ranch near Billings, Montana, continuing the western traditions that shaped their lives. Marissa’s own ranching heritage—rooted in an irrigated farming, working cattle and game ranch in Colorado with ties to the Spanish land grant era—adds another layer of land stewardship and legacy to their shared story. Together, they hold a strong connection to the western lifestyle and a deep commitment to passing on its values to the next generation.
Taite earned his degree in Business Management & Administration with a Minor in Entrepreneurship from Montana State University. His professional background spans production agriculture, real estate valuation and brokerage, international business, and banking—including time spent working across Europe and the Eastern United States. These experiences gave him a broadened perspective—and a deeper appreciation for the people, places, and values of the Northern Rockies he now calls home.
As a broker at Western Ranch Brokers, Taite supports clients across Montana and Wyoming with valuation insight, land advisory services, and strategic guidance. His expertise includes appraisals for estate planning, settlement, mortgage lending, and investment analysis, with a focus on agricultural, recreational, and legacy properties. With a career that bridges banking, ranch management, appraisal, and brokerage, Taite offers a well-rounded, client-first perspective. His ability to understand both the financial and emotional sides of land ownership allows him to serve as a trusted advisor—equally equipped to navigate complex investment-grade transactions and meaningful family transitions. Outside of work, Taite enjoys expanding operations and spending time working the ranch, being outdoors and traveling with his family—living the lifestyle he proudly represents.
